Deadline and Costs

The Quality Coast Award allows you to enter as many beaches along your coastline as you wish. The award is designed to reflect the many different uses of the coast and many beaches that may not be eligible for a Blue Flag Award may well be eligible for a Quality Coast Award.

To obtain a Quality Coast Award for the 2010 bathing season the application deadline will be 11th December 2009.

The cost of an award is:

1 to 3 award applications will cost £450 per beach per season
4 to 6 award applications will cost £425 per beach per season
7+ award applications will cost £400 per beach per season.
